Roda Coleman
Psychotherapist | Couples and Relationship Therapy
Roda is a warm and thoughtful Psychotherapist who works primarily with couples experiencing relationship distress, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, recurring conflict, betrayal, infidelity and concerns relating to sexual intimacy.
She understands that difficulties within a relationship can leave people feeling hurt, uncertain and disconnected from both themselves and their partner. Roda provides a calm and supportive therapeutic space where couples can better understand their relationship patterns, communicate more openly and work towards greater trust, emotional safety and connection.
Roda supports couples at different stages of their relationship, including those wanting to strengthen their connection, navigate a period of crisis, repair following betrayal or consider the future of their relationship.
She may also see an adult individually where the focus remains specifically connected to their relationship, such as understanding personal patterns, rebuilding trust, exploring attachment needs or supporting growth within an intimate partnership.
Clinical Approach
Roda approaches therapy with curiosity, warmth and respect. She believes that feeling genuinely heard and understood can support meaningful change, particularly when couples are navigating distress, disconnection or longstanding relationship patterns.
Her approach is collaborative, person-centred and trauma-informed. Roda draws on experiential and relational therapies to help clients explore what is happening beneath the surface, understand their emotional responses and develop more constructive ways of relating to one another.
