Registered Psychologist | Assessments

Renata is a Registered Psychologist who provides evidence-based psychological support to older adults, as well as adults experiencing significant life transitions.

She has particular clinical experience in working with older individuals presenting with anxiety disorders, depression, adjustment difficulties, and health-related psychological concerns. Renata supports clients navigating retirement, chronic illness, functional changes, and age-related transitions, with a focus on maintaining psychological wellbeing and quality of life.

Renata has a special interest in cognitive health, memory changes, and neuropsychological assessment. She has experience supporting individuals experiencing cognitive decline, memory impairment, and dementia, and works collaboratively with clients, families, GPs, specialists, and other healthcare providers to assist with understanding assessment outcomes, planning appropriate supports, and navigating future care needs.

In addition to therapeutic support, Renata provides comprehensive psychological assessments for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Her assessment services can help identify cognitive strengths and challenges, ADHD, memory impairment, adaptive functioning needs, learning differences, and age-related cognitive changes. Assessments are tailored to the individual's age, presentation, and referral question, providing clear recommendations to support home, school, workplace, and healthcare planning.

Her approach is person-centred and grounded in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with a focus on building adaptive coping, emotional regulation, and resilience.

Renata also provides support to caregivers and family members, recognising the psychological impact of caring roles and the importance of sustainable support systems.
