Casey Conroy

Casey is a dietitian and naturopath, as well as a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor, providing evidence-based, weight-neutral support for individuals experiencing eating, feeding, and gastrointestinal concerns.

She has a particular interest in the intersection of disordered eating, gut health, and mental health, and supports clients to move away from rigid or restrictive approaches towards more sustainable, nourishing ways of relating to food.

Casey works with adolescents (14+) and adults, and has experience supporting a range of presentations including Anorexia Nervosa (including atypical AN), Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID, disordered eating, body image concerns, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). She is especially passionate about working with clients who may not identify as having an eating disorder, but feel stuck in cycles of food rules, gut symptoms, or conflicting health advice.

Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in both evidence-based nutrition and a deep respect for each individual’s lived experience. She aims to create a space where clients feel understood and supported, while also gently challenging patterns that may be impacting their health and wellbeing.

Clinical Approach

Casey takes a weight-neutral, non-diet approach to care, recognising the impact that dieting, wellness and diet culture, and chronic restriction can have on both physical and mental health.

She integrates nutrition, behavioural, and nervous system-informed strategies to support clients in a way that is practical, flexible, and tailored to their individual needs. Her work focuses on improving nutritional adequacy, rebuilding trust with food and the body, and supporting sustainable change without reliance on restrictive or prescriptive approaches.

She works collaboratively with clients and, where relevant, alongside other members of the care team to support consistent, holistic care.

Her areas of clinical focus include:

  • Eating disorders, disordered eating and chronic dieting

  • Body image concerns

  • Gut health concerns (including IBS), particularly where food restriction may be contributing

  • Emotional eating and restrictive eating patterns

  • Anxiety, depression, and stress-related changes in eating

  • Neurodivergent eating patterns (including ADHD-related challenges with appetite, structure, and consistency)

  • Women’s health (including PCOS, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum)

  • Adolescent nutrition and feeding concerns
